June 2013: First rank and winner of the Scalable Concept Image Annotation Challenge at ImageCLEF 2013 (among 57 participant runs belonging to 13 international labs). November 2010: "The Saburo Tsuji" Best Regular Paper Award for the oral paper entitled Context Based Support Vector Machines for Interconnected Image Annotation (In ACCV, Asian Conference on Computer Vision, oral paper acceptance rate 4.7%). June 2008: Best Regular Paper Award by Queen's Marry University of London for the oral paper entitled Object Recognition and Retrieval using Context Dependent Kernels (In IEEE Content Based Multimedia Indexing).
